Agriculture especially can be produced much cheaper in the third world than any place in the EU, but because of the tariff barrier the goods have become even more expensive than EU goods. This only shows that the European Union is afraid of losing power. They will help, but with limitations to ensure their own protection.

This does not mean that each society or individual concentrates on money or power when they fight to change the world. Of course there are many different issues that societies/individuals are fighting for such as equal rights, poverty, freedom of expression, peace, better environment etc. In small societies around the world, people are actually working to help others without expecting something in return. At least money and power are not their immediate goals.

The strategy of Turkey would first of all involve making the world aware that Turkey could be a profitable place to invest. Secondly, Turkey could be marketed in such a way that business people around the world would change their negative thoughts about Turkey. If Turkey took a few additional measures, than I feel many more companies and firms would actually invest in Turkey.
