What do you think is not fair or is just wrong in life? Well in this essay that’s what I will explain. For example I will say why I think kids should not get homework, why I think getting up early is a bad thing, and why we should get more snow days. And I will say why there is a down side to some of these rules.


First off I will explain why we should get snow days. In every school year there are some extra days for snow days and for the last couple of years our town has not been using them. Even though every parent or teacher will say “its better because school ends earlier,” I like the excitement of waking up to hear that there is no school. The other thing that gets me mad is when the weatherman says that snow is coming and we don’t get a snow day. A lot of parents get mad at this because they might have taken the day off thinking there was a snow day. Another thing that aggravates me is that so many other towns get snow days while we still have school. So as you can see I really do not like and find it unfair that we rarely get a snow day.





Another thing I do no agree with is homework. I don’t know why we get it, I mean if they teach us in school why do we need to do more work at home. I do think we should get work if we can’t finish it in school, but otherwise I don’t think there is a reason why we should get it. I also think it is unfair because most kids have things to do or places to go, and end up doing the homework late at night and getting a bad grade on it. Also I do not like it because sometimes all the teachers give a lot of homework on the same night. Then it takes hours to do, what they should do is just split it up into a little at a time. Finally I should say that I think that homework can be good if you don’t understand the topic. Because if you don’t understand it you can learn at home and bring your grade up.


The last thing I will talk about is waking up early. Most adults don’t care about getting up early but most kids do. I think that things would be much better if kids could sleep in so then they would not be tired for school. This would probably improve our grades. Also if we got more time to sleep school would start later and last longer but kids would not have to get homework since school would go later. And finally if kids got to sleep in they would not have a problem getting up and would be even more prepared to go to their classes and do better work.


In conclusion I think a lot of other things are not fair but most of all I think that homework, not getting snow days ever, and having to get up early are the tree main things that are not fair, and I think most kids will agree. And finally I have to say that even though kids think these rules are not fair I think that everything would be hectic if these rules were changed.
